A recent newsletter by Dr Mercola reports on how heavy metals are making people sick, even when people follow healthy dietary guidelines. Even healthy eaters may digest food poorly or experience digestive distress. The articlecontinues (as I have heard and read many times before) that build up of heavy metals can contribute to diseases such as Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, cancer and much more.
Dr Mercola comments that, “most people are absolutely clueless about just how toxic mercury is. It is toxic at one in one billion-part quantities”. How then can dentists still put mercury into our teeth as fillings and still have impunity?
Dr Mercola continues that heavy metal toxicity has become is one of today’s most pressing health issues with even babies being born with a toxic metal load and many things (especially cookware) contributing to this metal load. He also reports on how some of the giant corporations are lobbying hard to block Senate Bills that would restrict the use of certain heavy metals from everyday items like food packaging. I would recommend that you check out the whole article.
As with my earlier posting on how corporations are trying to block our right to take vitamin and mineral supplements, it is all about making money with no regard for the human cost. I have a partner with cancer and a father with Alzheimer’s. Whilst there are multiple factors involved, I don’t understand how anybody can knowingly fight to unnecessarily keep these toxic metals/chemicals in the lives of ordinary people. If governments are not concerned with the amount of human suffering, then they should at least consider the enormous cost to the countries health care system and the taxpayer.
Not only are more and more people suffering these metal and chemical intolerance’s, but so are animals.
I have written before about the Dr Hulda Clark anti cancer protocol. Dr Clark recommends the use of good quality stainless steel pots and pan (certainly no aluminium or Teflon) and even hardened plastic for cutlery. She also recommends removal of all metal from the body, including removing teeth that have had metal fillings.
Dr Clark has been recommending this for decades and many scientific studies about the health risks of heavy metals have since been published; so how come so little has been done? How come we are still even taking about it?

I don’t really like the term “superbugs”, its a bit dramatic for the likes of me with my British stiff upper lip (oh well, better than a lower quivering lip)
However, superbug is the description given to antibiotic resistant bacteria found in pork in an article published on the website of the Organic Consumers Association. The article refers to a study by public health researchers of the University of Minnesota that found antibiotic resistant bacteria was found in about half of the pigs tested was also found in about 7% of swine veterinarians working with them. One smart observer commented that he would make sure that he would thoroughly cook any veterinarians before eating them.
I would suggest that you read the whole article here.
On another note, pigs have been seen as unclean animals for centuries. Even in biblical times people were advised not to eat the meat of pigs. I hope I don’t offend anybody here, but I believe that the original dictate not to eat pork was nutritional advice for health reasons rather than (as it has become) for religious or spiritual reasons. Just my opinion, I’m not trying to belittle anybodies beliefs.

There is much debate and concern these days about the damage of the huge and rapidly growing Chinese economy to the global environment. Already they may be producing more CO2 than the USA. Although the future Beijing Olympics has become very political due to human rights violation in Tibet, one good spin-off is that the Chinese are keen to enhance their environmental credentials to the rest of the World.
I read a few years back that some Chinese cities have Environmental Committees, which have the power to shut down local factories for a few days if the local air get too contaminated. As much as I am not a fan of communism, this would appear to be an advantage of the communist system. Imagine in the West if we shut down factories in any given city until the air cleared. Large companies would be suing the government over loss of production and because their competitors in other parts of the country where getting an unfair advantage.
The Chinese actually have a 5 year plan in place to reduce the reduce their carbon footprint by 20% through mix of renewable sources such as solar and wind power. With such a huge population in a rapidly modernising country, how can we expect the Chinese people to go without the things that we take for granted. However, with all the haggling in the West over international environmental treaties and some countries not wanting to commit themselves unless other countries commit, it seems that it is the East that will set the example. Whatever other aspects of China’s policies we may not like, a goal to reduce carbon output in a rapidly growing economy is to be applauded.

Many modern items of makeup contain carcinogens and other chemical nasties, which overtime add to a woman’s toxic load. There are a number of ranges available that advertise themselves as safe and chemical free. Unfortunately most of them still have some trace chemicals left in them. For a healthy woman, these are probably quite adequate.
But for ladies following a strict detox program (like the Dr Clark anti cancer protocol), you may require something even purer. In fact Dr Clark recommends no makeup at all. That said, Mr Liam Young of The Natural Health Choice (who is an expert in the Clark Protocol) recommends the Miessence range which is not only 100% completely free of any synthetic chemicals, but it is organic too.
My partner who is following (in part) the Clark anti-cancer protocol has had to give up many things and had been rather down about not being able to use makeup either. She was therefore delighted when introduced to the Miessence range. She has found that some of the products are not as strong in their colouring as conventional makeup, but she is just happy to be able so use something that is safe.

As mentioned in Part 1 and Part 2 of my postings on the Dr Clark Anti-Cancer Protocol, from personal experience it is very thorough and effective, but it is also very difficult to strictly follow without a team of dedicated carers. Having other family commitments (a 13 year old daughter – going on 25) I really struggleto fulfil the requirements when caring for my partner (and we often miss parts out). I also know of a father and son who both gave up work to care for their wife/mother full time using the Dr Clark Protocol and even with 2 of them they found it difficult to keep up with.
It is however still worth using as a baseline when following other therapies (including chemotherapy and radiation).
Supplements recommended by the Dr Clark Protocol need to be of the highest standard and purity. We get ours from The Natural Health Choicehere in the UK. I had included the website address on my original posting, but it was not live and running at that time. It is now up and running and taking orders over the Internet.
The Natural Health Choiceis owned and operated by Mr Liam Young. Over the last couple of years, we have found Liam to be very friendly, very efficient, and most importantly . . . . very knowledgeable on the Dr Clark Protocol (amongst other things). He has been able to advise us and guide us along the way. For anybody following the Clark Protocol, I would seriously recommend Liam and his company, not only for his products, but for his invaluable guidance too.
