Creaky Knee Syndrome (And Other Joint Problems) (Part 2)

March 31, 2009 · Leave a Comment

Back in December 08, I wrote about joint problems and how glucosamine can help to ease pain and repair cartilage damage.  Whilst Glucosamine is certainly effective, I would also recommend that you visit a good osteopath or chiropractor.  If your joints are being damaged by some structural problem with bone alignment, then you will constantly be undoing any good done by the glucosamine.

As a young man of about 20, I was getting a lot of swelling around my knee when I went to my karate training.  There was so much fluid that it dropped from my knee to my ankle and my ankle had become literally twice the size.  I went to the doctor who could find nothing wrong with the knee and told me to rest it (no karate training).  So I rested it, swelling went down . . . . trained, swelling came back . . . . rested it longer, swelling went down . . . . trained, swelling came back up . . . . back to the doctor.

The doctor re-examined my knee, found nothing wrong again and told me to rest it for longer.  So I rested it longer, swelling went down . . . . trained swelling came back . . . . etc etc . . . . back to the doctor.  He still couldn’t find anything wrong and this time sent me to the hospital to have it X-rayed.  The X-ray showed nothing, and guess what I was told . . . . yes you guessed it . . . . rest it.

So eventually I went to an osteopath.  He concluded that my hip was slightly out and this was effecting my knee.  He clicked the hip back into place, told my I could train but to ease myself back into it and I had no more knee problems for years.  One visit to the osteopath sorted what 3 months of doctors and hospitals had failed to do.  The doctor and hospital did not even look at my hips.

More recently having another bout of knee problems I went to a chiropractor.  After a few clicks on the spine, he told me that my arches in my feet had dropped (which apparently is common as you get older).  This had led to my feet compensating by distorting slightly, which in turn had effected my knees and even my spine.

So whilst products like glucosamine and cod liver oil can be good for joints, it is well worth getting the structure of you body checked first or you could be wasting your money.

The Declaration: Stop Babies Being Born Pre-Polluted

March 24, 2009 · Leave a Comment

In the USA, the current law regulating toxic substances was passed in 1976.  Since then an estimated 20,000 new chemicals have become available.

It is claimed that pre-polluted new born babies are coming into the world with 300 industrial chemicals already inside their tiny bodies.  Pollution is increasingly being linked with a wide range of serious conditions including childhood cancer, autism, ADHD, learning deficits, infertility and birth defects.  When I was a child (I’m 46 now) we hardly ever heard of things like ADHD or childhood cancer, now they are common place.

A campaign calling for action is asking people to sign an on-line petition called “The Declaration“ which will be handed in to Congress when it is big enough.  Please watch the video below and sign the petition at http://www.kidsafechemicals.org/

Then pass it on to your friends, family and anybody you know that loves kids.

If you are interested in reducing the number of chemicals that you and your family are exposed to on a daily basis, then you may want to look at some of my earlier posings on:

Washing Your Hands Can Avoid A Worm In The Brain!

March 23, 2009 · Leave a Comment

A key part of the Dr Clark protocol is to rid the body of parasites.  Parasites are not taken as seriously in the West as they are in the tropical regions.  However, we in the developed West are still more prone to parasites then we realise.  Basic hygiene like washing hands with soap is important, not only for the obvious like after going to the bathroom or attending to somebody who is sick.  Even when handling uncooked meat (especially pork) we should thoroughly wash our hands as meat can contain parasites which we can get on our hands and spread.

The video below shows a women who was thought to have developed a brain tumour, but it turned out to be a worm in the brain.  Although having a worm made it much easier to treat, it is nonetheless just as dangerous.  The worm could have eaten through any part of her brain and had already made her very ill.  As gross as this is, it is worth seeing and worth showing to your kids to make sure that they understand why hygiene is important.

Subscribe To The Dr Clark Newsletter

March 23, 2009 · Leave a Comment

One of the most popular keywords that brings people to this blog is, “Dr Clark”, as her amazing work on fighting cancer is becoming increasingly popular, especially as more and more people turn away from orthodox cancer medicine due to its toxic side effects.  It occurred to me that I still get a newsletter from the main Dr Clark website, which will be of interest to people looking for more information on the Dr Clark’s protocol.

So if you want to stay abreast of the latest developments from the Dr Clark researchers, then go to http://www.drclark.net.  In the top right hand corner you will see a box which states, “Get Dr. Clark’s latest researches, news and updates FREE!“.  Next to this is a box where you enter your email address and submit.

These updates are a must for anybody who is seriously interested in following the Dr Clark Protocol.

High Levels Of Vitamin D Can Help You Survive Prostrate Cancer

March 20, 2009 · 2 Comments

In a recent newsletter by Dr Mercola, he reports on a study which demonstrates that vitamin D from sunlight can reduce the risk of prostrate cancer.  160 prostrate cancer sufferers were categorised as having either low, medium or high levels of vitamin D.  Over the course of the study, sadly 52 men died from their prostrate cancers.  The highest death rate was amongst those with the lowest levels of vitamin D.  Those with high levels of Vitamin D were found to be 7 times less likely to die.

Dr Mercola points out that in the USA, prostrate cancer is the second most common form of cancer amongst men and it is estimated that an enormous 1 in 6 American men will suffer with it during their life time.

Getting more sunlight (even in the UK where I live) is really a matter of lifestyle.  Simple lifestyle changes can make a big difference to your chances of surviving prostrate cancer, or even preventing it from developing in the first place.

Although this study is good news, it is not really new.  Both Dr Hulda Clark and Dr Budwig who pioneered much of the alternative/complementary approach to fighting cancer recommended as much sunlight as possible decades ago.  It seems that the mainstream is only just now catching up.  The Clark protocol is very detailed an difficult to follow.  However, it is easy and quite cheap to include elements of the Budwig Oil-Protein Diet into your daily diet.

If you fear that you may be at risk of any type of cancer (or if you already have it), then get as much sunlight as you can and get yourself the Oil-Protein Diet Book.  Both are simple lifestyle changes that can really make a big difference and possibly save your life.

The Rate Of Change: Technology & Populations

March 20, 2009 · Leave a Comment

The rate that things are changing on planet Earth is amazing and seems to be speeding up all the time.  The video below shows some astounding facts, not just about the pace of technology but also about populations.  As well as the massive impact of technology, it also shows facts (particularly about China and India) that are likely in time to effect the worlds balance of economic power.

Its a fascinating video, I hope you enjoy it.

Join The Fight For Climate Change And Make Your Voice Be Heard

March 11, 2009 · Leave a Comment

As per my last posting, I get regular emails from www.Avaaz.org.  They campaign on environmental and sensitive political issues.  They have their fingers on sensitive pulses and know when key meetings between decision makers are scheduled.  Obviously the lobbyists for the polluting companies that do not want such tight environmental controls know too and they will be busy talking to the decision makers.  But what do we, the little guy do.  We don’t have the resources to lobby decision makers all the world and if we did, why would they listen to us.  Only by joining our voices together can we, the little guy be heard.

That is where Avaaz comes in.  They set up petitions for a variety of subjects, they inform their large database of little guys, they collate the names and then they deliver the petitions to the decision makers.  Will the decision makers listen?  Well in many cases they are elected officials, so if they have enough voters petitioning, then yes they will.  Besides, it is always better to try than not to try.  If we don’t act, but the lobbiests for the dirty polluting companies do act, then the decision makers will only know one side of the story.  We have to try.

I do not intend to discuss the political stances taken by Avaaz as this is not intended to be a political blog.  All I will say is, that if you disagree with their political campaigns, then ignore them and only respond to the environmental campaigns.  However, if you are interested in fighting to save the planet, then visit Avaaz, chose your language and go to the “sign up” link.

Climate Action: Greater Than Cutting 2/3 Of Europes Cars

March 11, 2009 · Leave a Comment

Every now and then I receive emails from Avaaz, who are an online environmental and political lobbying group.  I received one such email 2 days ago which I have cut and pasted below.  If you are interested in preserving the environment, then please read it.  Without any more ado, over to Avaaz:

Dear friends,
This week, European regulators will start setting new efficiency standards for fridges, TVs, and other products. Strong rules could massively cut Europe’s climate pollution, but industrial lobbyists are pushing to weaken the proposals.

We’ve received an unusual message: a video sent back in time from the future … by a talking fridge named “Coldy.” Click the picture to watch the video and take action now:

Green technology already exists that would dramatically improve the fridges, TVs, washing machines, and other products that each of us use. Strong green standards, according to expert studies, could have a huge climate impact–greater than taking two thirds of Europe’s cars off the road. And these standards would reduce our energy bills by tens of billions of Euros per year.

But the most-polluting companies want to sell dirty products cheaply, and avoid green investment. It’s up to us to make sure EU negotiators hear the clear voice of thousands of citizens across Europe — and not just the voices of industry lobbyists. Click below to watch the video and sign the petition — it will be delivered to negotiators this Thursday:

With hope,
Ben, Luis, Iain, Graziela, Paula, Alice, Milena, Ricken, Brett, Pascal, Paul, Veronique, and the entire Avaaz team

Cell Phone And Popcorn: Is It A Hoax?

March 5, 2009 · Leave a Comment

The Internet has been a bit busy lately with people sending each other videos of popcorn being cooked within seconds by mobile phones.  3 or 4 mobile phones (cell phones) are placed in a circle, with uncooked popcorn in the middle.  The “experimenters” then call the mobile phones around the popcorn.  The video shows the popcorn jumping into the air as they are cooked.

See below:

This obviously causes concern, because if mobile phones can do that to popcorn so quickly, what are they doing to our brains?  Well although I agree that there is a risk with using mobile phones too much, the videos appear to be a hoax.  See the video below which shows you how it is done:

Of course there will always be somebody that wants to take it a step further, so I have added this video just for fun.  Enjoy:

Affiliate Program

March 3, 2009 · Leave a Comment

Every now and then, I get enquiries from people who are interested in selling the advanced colloidal silver.  Although anybody can join Nutronix International as an independent distributor (like me) it is not the purpose of this blog to promote the business side of Nutronix, as this blog focuses on health, self development and environmental issues.

For anybody that is interested in selling the advanced colloidal silver, then please visit the affiliate page on my main website where you can find the information you need, rather than looking for it on this blog.
