Considering that anybody promoting colloidal silver has to work around strict guidelines laid down by the FDA, about what we are allowed (or not) to say, I was quite surprised to see the recent advertising by Nivea For Men, Antiperspirant Deodorant . . . . with SILVER.
Why with silver?
Because according to their website:
“Its antibacterial formula, with silver ions, fights bacteria & body odour. Delivering 24h confidence and anti-perspirant protection, it keeps you fresh and dry all day long”.
Its a bit ironic that they are allowed to claim that silver is “antibacterial”, yet I’m not supposed to say it about my product despite copious amounts of evidence. Just as well it is a deodorant and not a health product and therefore don’t threaten pharmaceutical profits!

Since I first posted about the One-Minute-Cure, many people seem to be wondering if it is a scam or not. When I look at my blog statistics, the keyword that has brought most people to this blog is “one minute cure scam”.
The short answer is I don’t really know. The explanation of how it works makes sense to me, though I don’t completely agree with everything it says (see my earlier posting for more detail). It slates the pharmaceutical industry (I can sympathise), it slates the nutritional supplement industry (can’t completely agree with that) and it gives one-sided mis-information about colloidal silver (certainly don’t agree).
The One Minute Cure is certainly marketed very hard. Near the top of its website it states, “Watch this life-changing video now before it’s banned forever “. Well its been there for at least a year.
I have tried it myself. I can’t say that I noticed much difference except maybe a small boost in energy. However, I was not ill at the time, so probably I wouldn’t notice that much difference anyway. I certainly did not have any adverse effects.
So is it a scam? Well the jury’s out on that one, I just don’t know. However, it is quite cheap so there is not much at stake.
I personally would recommend that if you had some virus or bug and money is not a problem, then try the advanced silver solution first as there is much more evidence to back it up. If money is tight, but you still feel that you need something, then the One Minute Cure is very cheap and cost-effective, though it does have less to back it up. It certainly won’t do you any harm.

In the March issue of the Dr Clark Zentrum Newsletter, there is a whole page enclosed on Colloidal Silver. It states that:
“In vitro, colloidal silver has been shown to kill certain bacteria, fungus and viruses, and even tumor cells”.
As I sell colloidal silver, it would be great for me to be able claim that it kills tumor cells, but I must in all honesty say that I’ve never heard this claim before, or seen anything to back it up. The brand of colloidal silver that I promote has been far more extensively tested than any other brand available, yet I’ve never heard any mention of this before.
I will say that when my partner had cancer and the tumors had burst through the skin, colloidal silver was effective at keeping it clean. The tumors emitted a thick liquid with a foul smell (which we assumed was bacteria). When silver was regularly applied, the liquid thinned out and did not smell nearly as strong. Although from my own personal experience (rather than scientific studies) I would advocate the colloidal silver for keeping a tumor clean, I have not seen any evidence that it kills cancer cells.
That said, the Clark foundation does specialise in cancer research, so it is possible that they have been involved in research that I am not aware of.
Whilst on that subject, some of my long-term readers will remember that I reported on some of the cancer therapies we tried at that time. Sadly Michele did not make it and passed away in 2008. Some people may have been surprised that I did not say too much about it at the time or express very much emotion on my blog. I would just like to explain, that my feelings were/are private and I did not wish to share them on the internet. That is not criticise people who do share their feelings of loss on their own blogs when they lose somebody; it is just not my way and I hope that you will understand and respect that this is just my way of dealing with things.

I often get asked if the advanced colloidal silver is effective against this or that bacteria or virus. However, the US Food & Drugs Administration (FDA) has banned Nutronix and its distributors (like me) from making claims about the effect of our advanced colloidal silver on any diseases. This has nothing to do with evidence as there is stacks of it. It is to do with protecting profits of the pharmaceutical companies. To get accreditation from the FDA as a drug or antibiotic (therefore being able to make these claims) is ludicrously expensive.
Do the pharmaceutical companies mind paying these outragouse prices.
No, of course they don’t. And the reason is, because it kills the competition stone dead (if only their antibiotics worked as well). None of the companies producing the natural antibiotics or other health supplements can afford such outrageous prices. It maintains a monopoly. With the prize money waiting at the other end, the monopoly is well worth paying for.
Not being able to associate our product with any disease is of course crippling to our trade and I have had to remove a number of postings from this blog, despite them all being evidence based.
However, what I will do is quote from the US Patent Office. When this colloidal silver was patented in 2006 the US Patent Office reviewed the huge amount of scientific evidence and validated it by issuing a patent. I have therefore cut and pasted below, a section from the US Patent Office website, which is for laboratory tests and not inside the human body.
As for if it would work inside the human body, well, you will have to draw your own conclusions!

Something that many people worry about, but can be hard to detect (in yourself) is bad breath. It is an embarrassment if you are caught out with it, but even your best friends are too embarrassed to tell you most of the time.
Bad breath is caused by a build up of bacteria at the back of the mouth. This is sometimes missed when brushing the teeth which focuses on the front of the mouth. One possible solution for this which is used by many people, is gargling once a day with a bit of colloidal silver added to a small glass of water, then swallowing.
For people who are taking colloidal silver daily anyway, you might just as well gargle with it first as it passes over the back of the mouth very fast. Keep it contact for a bit longer to maximise this benefit.

Once again the freedom of choice is under attack to ensure that the fat cats get even fatter. Proposed new regulations are calling for the use of nano silver products (including colloidal silver) to be controlled by the US Environmental Protection Agency as . . . . wait for it . . . . pesticides.
Yes, I did say “pesticides”. I find it incredulous. Study after study has shown that colloidal silver is safe and effective, so it can’t be blocked on safety grounds. They are therefore attacking on environmental grounds.
Whilst the US (at least under the Bush administration) stalled international treaties on reducing pollution emissions to try to save the ice caps from melting; hey lets ban proven safe colloidal nano silver as it might damage the environment! Does there not seem to be a massive contradiction here. Well not when you consider that the winners in each case are big industry, be it oil or pharmaceutical. That is the commonality in each case.
The colloidal silver that I promote on my main website (produced by American Biotech Labs, marketed by Nutronix International) is named as one of the 4 main brands targeted. Why? Because it is one of the best sellers, making one of the biggest dents in the pharmaceutical companies profits.
Fortunately, we do have already have toxicity clearances with the EPA. Whether or not those clearances will be enough to allow us to pass these new regulations or not, I don’t know yet.

Further to my last posting on Heavy Metals causing health problems, I thought it might seem contradictory when I regularly advocate the use of the advanced colloidal silver. I thought therefore that I would clarify a few points.
The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) produces Integrated Risk Information System (IRIS) reports on toxicity of various substances. The IRIS report for silver in general (not just colloidal silver) states that the “critical effect in humans ingesting silver is argyria, a medically benign but permanent bluish-gray discoloration of the skin”. It continues that argyria “is not associated with any adverse health effect”. Whilst it is nice to know that the worst effect of silver is benign, nobody wants to end up looking like an extra for the X-Men. Fortunately the IRIS report notes that argyria “is now a rare occurance”. It is rare because a large quantity of silver is required and the silver particles have to be quite large in order to get trapped under the skin. Most modern colloidal silvers use nano-particles which are too small to be trapped under the skin and pass through the body quite easily.
The same IRIS report also states on the 5th page that numerous tests were completed as to the absorption and retention of ingested silver in a range of test animals which included primates (a catagory to which human beings belong). Bearing in mind that this report refers to silver in general and not the nano-particles in modern colloidal silvers, the work concluded that between 90% to 99% of the ingested silver was excreted by the second day after consumption and greater than 99% was excreted in less than a week. So most silver passes through the body quite quickly and was found not to build up in the body.

Further to the first part of this posting, I have still received a comment (on a completely different posting) warning about Argyria (a condition that turns the skin blue). This is good as I welcome discussion. I have addressed the question of safety from argyria in Part 1 of this posting, as well as misleading claims by a number of colloidal silver manufacturers.
To give an analogy, we could not live without water, but drinking sea water would make us sick. Now I am not suggesting that we cannot live without colloidal silver. What I am suggesting is that there is a lot variation in the quality of the colloidal silver, so care should be taken when purchasing.
If you don’t want to end up looking like something out of the X-men, then don’t use the home made generators (but even with them argyria is rare). The brand that I recommend is manufactured by American Biotech Labs.
